Running from Gustav
Dena and I just got back home from what was supposed to be a long weekend at the beach. We rented a condo in Gulf Shores with our friends Jenny and Clay. Gustov had other plans however and we were evacuated a day earlier than we had planned. We at least had one nice day out on the beach. It took several hours longer than it should have to get home because of all the traffic headed north. Hopefully the storm won't cause as much damage to those still down there as we are afraid it might.

aGrrrr, Gustov!! How dare he ruin your vacation! And you guys have been looking forward to that trip for a while now. Well, we're glad you're home safe and you have something to talk about for years to come!

sorry to hear your vacation was cut short - especially since it was because of a storm called Gustav... it could have at least been a name worth running from, like Spike or Hurricane Van Dam. Glad you guys are ok.
